STRUCTURAL CRISIS OF CAPITAL: A NECESSARY REFLECTION ON TEACHER TRAINING

This article is an instrument through which we approach the specificities of the current crisis that we face as humanity and its necessary consideration on teacher training. We start from the ontological analysis developed by the philosopher István Mészáros and point out the global, multidimensional and procedural character of the structural crisis of capital. These are research results, at the doctoral level in education, which point to the need to defend school education based on the elaborations of historical-critical pedagogy. We conclude that, more than ever, it is necessary to invest in collective efforts that value the sciences, the arts and philosophy in school educational work and in teacher training, with the aim of bringing together in-depth analyzes and, therefore, criticism of the social reality contemporary in its serious contradictions and dynamics.
